Not fun at work

How to not have fun at work, a step by step tutorial for having a shitty day.

  1. Hire one topherchris and encourage him to work for you for a very long time.
  2. Have said topherchris develop lots and lots and lots of complex, one-off, custom things for your place of business.
  3. Encourage topherchris after he finds a cute new blogging service and seems to enjoy it. 
  4. Encourage topherchris to at least explore the wildly unlikely suggestion that tumblr may actually want to hire him.
  5. Watch as topherchris packs up his office for his last day of work.

That’s right, kids, today is topherchris’ last day of work at his current employer. Exciting for him, sad for us. 

I promised myself I wouldn’t cry.
