Jonathan Swift’s A Modest Proposal is one of my favorite things in the world. Basically, it was a pamphlet written in 1729 which advocated that the poor children of Ireland be sold as food to the rich to ease economic woes. Hilarious, right? But he wasn’t just making a joke about cannibalism and infanticide, he was making points about society’s ills, labor issues, and poverty in general.

It’s nowhere near that vein that I present the above teaser for what will become my contribution to the November US Presidential election. I have a long tradition of doing parody work for elections (I started back when Jeb Bush was elected Governor of Florida), and I think many of us agree that this cycle marks the most important election of the modern era.

So I’ll be doing my part. And I’ll even try to make sure to vote, too.
