tumbltouch.com will be my playground for getting the most out of Tumblr with iPhone or iPod touch. Don’t get me wrong, Tumblr.com itself is completely optimized for the platform, and the /mobile view works just fine. I’m just a code monkey and can’t leave well enough alone.

It’s really nothing special so far, and you can only view my blog with it currently, but it’ll grow. Especially if there’s any interest. Next up: parsing for YouTube videos (since those play on the platform), and figuring out the best way to get mp3s streaming from any blog (without letting people download tracks).

(Sidenote: While I did indeed get the idea for this, checked on the URL, and registered it all via iPhone while sitting in a waiting room, I will not be doing any of the coding via my phone. I know, weak.)
