anonymity and what have you
In my opinion:
Personal critique of any kind from somebody who chooses to remain anonymous is ultimately saying more about the messenger than the person being critiqued. While I believe this genre of prose can be provocative and entertaining if done well (as it often is around these parts), you’re ultimately full of shit if you don’t have the balls to put your name on something you wrote about somebody else. So have fun, enjoy, whatever, but nothing from an anonymous poster on the Interweb should ever be taken seriously.
If you’re the topic of discussion: Just because you agree with #1 completely doesn’t mean you can just magically not let it get to you. If only our minds worked that way…
