FW: Brown Recluse spider
That was the subject line in a message from my Uncle. He tends to prefer email forwards with photos in them, so I opened with it trepidation.
Worst fears realized. Oh, it’s not that I mind seeing a photo of a Brown Recluse spider. No, it’s seeing the gaping bloody fucking guts-dripping-out wound which is possible to receive if you get bit by said Brown Recluse spider.
But at least I now know what to look out for in the arachnid family. And knowing is half the battle.
