While I applaud Senator Clinton for sacrificing her entire political career in an effort to ensure that Obama looks like the sane and rational choice by default, something has suddenly hit me. Not everybody gets the joke. There are perhaps millions of people in America who don’t know that Hillary Clinton is actually acting out a parody of a Republican campaign on a grand scale. People are actually taking her candidacy seriously, completely unaware that she’s doing some really avant-garde performance art here.
