Or…

This is a radical thought, I know, but bear with me: Some things that are written on the internet aren’t worth directly responding to.

I understand getting worked up over somebody’s utter stupidity, trust me. (Seriously, TRUST ME.) I also think it’s fine to use your outlet of choice to make your opinion on the matter known. My only advice on this plan would be, rather than framing a response to the aforementioned utter stupidity, write your own thing. Make your own case, with your own points, in your own terms, and leave the offender of normal human intelligence out of it.

Putting them in the spotlight merely keeps them, and their ideas, in the spotlight.
