I just found safari140 by David Watanabe, and this might be my new favorite Twitter client. It’s stupidly simple: Post to twitter from Safari (hit control-T). It autofills and auto-shortens the current webpage for you, but that’s something I’ll rarely use. That’s it.
Why do I love this? I’m lazy. I’m in Safari more than any other app. I don’t have to go anywhere else. Control-T, type, post. Done.
Sidebar: There are plenty of great options for reading Tweets, but at least for the way my brain works, I don’t necessarily want to associate writing Tweets with reading them. To me, those are two very different activities, and I’m hardly ever in the mood to do them both at the same time.
